Full Job Description

SEND International is currently seeking an exceptional Head Teacher to lead a new SEND school who has a proven track record in the London (Harrow, Brent, Hounslow & Ealing) area.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in school leadership, with the ability to inspire, motivate and empower staff to deliver outstanding education to all students. All of our students have a range of Specialist SEND need from ASD, to SEMH and other needs. The schools offers education to a wide range of pupils (aged 7-25 years) and take great pride in helping them achieve their potential. Support for pupils is given on a one to one specialist teaching to small group learning and, in the classroom.

What we need from you;

  • Provide strong and effective leadership to a cluster of SEND schools in the London area, ensuring that all schools meet and exceed the high standards set by the trust
  • Passion to support children with SEND
  • Personality, charisma and dedication to succeed!
  • Someone who has vision, new ideas and wants to try new things to make the school successful!
  • Develop and implement a strategic vision for the SEND school network, with a focus on creating a nurturing, student-focused environment that promotes academic success and personal growth
  • Work closely with the trust board and local authority to develop and deliver a plan to expand the local SEND school network across London
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents, carers, local authorities and other stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes for our students
  • Ensure that all schools within the cluster are compliant with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
  • NPQH qualification or working towards this
  • Extensive experience in a leadership role within a SEND school environment.
