Key Responsibilities

Assist in implementing personalised strategies to manage challenging behaviour effectively.

Foster a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment.

Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and other staff to ensure consistent support for the child.

Encourage social and emotional development through patient and empathetic interaction.

Monitor and report on the child’s progress, adapting strategies as needed.

Essential Requirements

Proven ability to manage challenging behaviour with patience and understanding.

A naturally calm and composed demeanour.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

A genuine passion for supporting the educational and emotional development of children.

Desirable Qualifications

Relevant qualifications in education or child development.

Experience in a similar role with SEND within a school setting.
