SEND are searching for a Deputy Head of Education for a Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) school on the outskirts of Bournemouth, Dorest.

Job Description:

As the Deputy Head Education, you will play a pivotal role in leading and shaping the future of the students of the school. We are seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to guide this SEND school and drive their mission of excellence in special education.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Develop and articulate a compelling vision for the organisation, setting clear objectives and strategies for growth and improvement.
Lead the development and execution of educational programs and initiatives that align with our mission and goals.

Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring the highest standards of teaching, learning, and support for students with SEND.

Business Growth: Identify opportunities for expansion and diversification of educational services.
Develop and implement innovative business strategies to increase the reach and impact of our organization.

Community Engagement: Foster positive relationships with parents, students, staff, and other stakeholders to enhance the reputation and effectiveness of our schools.
Act as an ambassador for SEND education, advocating for the needs and rights of students with disabilities.

Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of educational professionals.
Provide strategic guidance and support to school leaders and staff.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a decade of Executive Headship experience, preferably in the field of education with relevant qualifications.
  • A strong growth and business mindset with a track record of successfully expanding and improving educational institutions.
  • Exceptional visionary leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals.
  • A genuine passion for SEND education and a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in this field.
