Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Teaching Assistant (SEND TA) to join our team . The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting students with SEND, working collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to ensure all students have equal access to a high-quality education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEND, assisting them in accessing the curriculum and achieving their learning objectives.
• Collaborate with subject teachers to adapt lesson plans and materials to meet the individual needs of students with SEND, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility.
• Support students in developing academic skills, as well as social and emotional skills, to promote their overall well-being and independence.
• Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and contribute to the monitoring and assessment of student progress.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued, respected, and supported in their educational journey.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience working with students with SEND, preferably within a high school or educational setting, is desirable.
• A relevant qualification in Special Educational Needs or Teaching Assistance is advantageous.
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting the educational and personal development of students with SEND.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people with SEND.
