Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEND Teacher to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will have a genuine passion for teaching children with SEND and a strong background in catering to a wide range of needs. As a SEND Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing consistency of care and education to our students, ensuring they receive the support they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with SEND.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and respected.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including Teaching Assistants, therapists, and parents, to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and support strategies.
  • Implement effective behavior management strategies to promote positive behavior and engagement in learning.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to promote a collaborative approach to learning and support.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience working with SEND children.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of a wide range of SEND needs and effective teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • A compassionate and patient approach to working with children with diverse needs.
  • The ability to provide consistency of care and support to SEND students, ensuring their well-being and academic progress.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to learn and implement new strategies and approaches.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £180.00-£200.00 per day

  • Monday to Friday
