We are looking for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team and work with a Year 5 pupil who requires additional help to access learning and reach their full potential.
The role involves providing tailored, 1:1 support within the classroom, helping the student with both academic tasks and emotional regulation throughout the school day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support for a Year 5 pupil with identified additional needs
- Adapt and deliver learning activities under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCo
- Build a positive, trusting relationship with the student to support their engagement and confidence
- Help implement strategies outlined in the student’s support plan or EHCP
- Support emotional wellbeing, behaviour regulation, and social interaction
- Work collaboratively with staff and external professionals
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with children with SEND in a school setting
- Calm, patient and consistent approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt tasks and instructions to suit individual learning styles
- A team player with a genuine passion for inclusive education

Pay: £91.52-£94.87 per day
