We are a specialist SEND school catering to learners aged 11–16 with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and social, language, and communication difficulties. Our school is a nurturing and structured environment where learners are encouraged to achieve their full potential both academically and socially.
The Role:
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support students with Autism and communication needs in the classroom
- Foster positive relationships to build trust and engagement
- Help deliver tailored learning activities alongside the class teacher
- Encourage independence, emotional regulation, and social interaction
- Use a variety of communication aids and strategies, such as visual timetables, social stories, or PECS

- A caring, calm, and patient individual
- Understanding of Autism and the challenges around communication and social interaction
- Experience working with children or young people with SEND (desirable but not essential)
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic school environment

Pay: £82.00-£95.00 per day

- No weekends
Licence/Certification:
- DBS on the Update Service (preferred)
