We are seeking a compassionate and proactive SEND Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. This is a rewarding role where every day is different, and your support will have a lasting impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and group support to pupils with a variety of SEND
- Help implement individual learning plans, EHCP targets, and therapy strategies
- Use visual aids, communication tools, and tailored resources to support engagement
- Foster independence, emotional wellbeing, and positive behaviour
- Assist the class teacher with classroom activities, preparation, and routines
- Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, staff, and families
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience working with children or young people with SEND (school, care, youth work or similar)
- A calm, empathetic, and patient nature
- Confidence in supporting children with challenging behaviour, sensory needs, or limited communication
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- A willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic school environment
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) are desirable but not essential

Pay: £91.52-£94.92 per day
