Specialist SEND Tutoring

Experienced Teacher Looking for a Different Way to Make an Impact?

The Specialist SEND Group works with qualified teachers who want to use their expertise in a more flexible and meaningful way.

Our tutors support children and young people with complex SEND needs who are currently unable to attend school, delivering personalised education either in the community, at home, or online.

This work is ideal for teachers who want to:

step away from the traditional classroom
work one-to-one with vulnerable learners
create meaningful change for young people
enjoy greater flexibility in their working week

The Students You Will Support

Our tutors work with young people who may be:

school refusers or emotionally based school avoiders
recently excluded or at risk of exclusion
waiting for specialist placements
asylum seekers or newly arrived students
young people with complex SEND needs

The work requires patience, creativity, and a genuine commitment to supporting students who need education delivered differently.

We support our tutors with a flexible and professional working model including:

Most importantly, you will be part of a team that is making a real difference to young people who need it most.
