Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Art Teacher to deliver engaging lessons across KS2 to KS5, following the relevant curriculum and GCSE/A-Level specifications. You will support the development of a vibrant Art programme and inspire students to achieve their best through a 50:50 teaching model, incorporating the school’s Self-Directed Learning philosophy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver lesson plans aligned with curriculum and exam board requirements.
- Use a variety of resources, including virtual learning platforms, to enhance student learning.
- Differentiate lessons to meet individual learning plans (ILPs) and support all learners.
- Assess and mark student work with clear targets to promote progress.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents and colleagues.
- Ensure a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment following behaviour policies.
- Organise and lead curriculum-related field trips as required.
General Duties:
- Contribute to the wider school vision and ethos.
- Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion.
- Adhere to all relevant policies including Health & Safety and Data Protection.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and participate in performance appraisals.
- Collaborate with external specialists when necessary.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £24,114.53-£49,978.46 per year
Expected hours: 21 per week
