Early Years Teacher – Special Education (Relocate to Bahrain)

Are you passionate about giving young learners the very best start in life?
An exciting opportunity awaits for a skilled and compassionate Early Years Teacher to join a highly supportive special education school setting in Bahrain. This is your chance to work with small class sizes, receive extensive in-class therapeutic support, and make a genuine difference for children with mild to moderate learning difficulties.

About the Role
You will teach pupils aged 4–7 years within a nurturing, inclusive environment that follows the British National Curriculum, adapted to meet each child’s individual needs. The school caters to children who may have challenges such as MLD, cerebral palsy, ASD, SEMH, dyslexia, dyscalculia, dyspraxia, speech and language delays, or low concentration and self-esteem.

Working closely with a multidisciplinary team—including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists—you will deliver tailored learning experiences that not only support academic growth but also help pupils develop confidence, resilience, and a strong sense of self-worth.

What Makes This Opportunity Unique

  • Small class sizes allow you to give each child the attention they deserve

  • A therapeutically enriched environment with specialist staff working alongside you in the classroom

  • A collaborative and supportive team that values creativity, flexibility, and a child-centred approach

  • A welcoming expatriate community in Bahrain, offering an excellent lifestyle and cultural experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons based on the British National Curriculum, adapted for individual learning needs

  • Foster a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment

  • Work closely with therapy staff to integrate specialist strategies into daily teaching

  • Use differentiated instruction to help pupils achieve personal and academic success

  • Track and report on pupil progress, celebrating every milestone

  • Engage with parents as partners in their child’s learning journey

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification

  • Experience in Early Years or Key Stage 1, ideally with children with additional learning needs

  • A flexible, creative approach and a passion for personalised learning

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team

  • Willingness to relocate to Bahrain and embrace its rich culture and warm climate

Package & Benefits

  • Competitive, tax-free salary

  • Relocation support and assistance with accommodation arrangements

  • Annual return flights

  • Medical insurance

  • Professional development opportunities

If you are ready for a rewarding role where you can truly make a difference in people’s lives while enjoying an enriching experience overseas, we would love to hear from you.
