Are you an experienced tutor or teacher who believes education should be flexible, inclusive, and genuinely life-changing?
We are seeking a Functional Skills Tutor in Telford to work with young people who need learning delivered differently. You will teach Functional Skills Maths and/or English from Entry Level 1 to Level 2, supporting learners to rebuild confidence, skills, and motivation.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver high-quality Functional Skills teaching (Entry Level 1–Level 2)
- Plan personalised learning for young people with SEND
- Track progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs
- Work collaboratively to share best practice and raise standards
- Support learner engagement, confidence, and progression
Who We’re Looking For
- A qualified teaching professional (Level 5 or above)
- Experience teaching Functional Skills or GCSE alternatives
- Confident working with post-16 learners, including those with SEND
- Calm, resilient, and relationship-focused
- Motivated by purpose and positive change
