Are you a qualified and experienced Physiotherapist with a passion for bringing joy and happiness to the lives of young learners? We are seeking a dedicated Physiotherapist to join our team at a SEND School in Bahrain. This role is more than just a job – it’s a way of life, offering kindness and happiness in a nurturing environment for children with learning difficulties.

Position: Physiotherapist
Location: Bahrain
Sector: Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Boys School
Experience Required: Minimum 3 years
Age Group: Primary-aged learners

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified Physiotherapist: Must hold relevant qualifications in Physiotherapy.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience working with primary-aged children in an educational setting.
  • Expertise: Proven experience working with children diagnosed with Down Syndrome, Dyspraxia, ADHD, ADD, SEMH, behavioural challenges, and Autism.
  • Language Skills: High command of English.
  • Nature: A happy, positive disposition that can impart joy and enthusiasm to young learners.
  • Collaboration: Experience in working within an educational environment, liaising with other professionals, and contributing to the creation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Support: Ability to support staff with appropriate physiotherapy interventions for the learners.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide physiotherapy services to primary-aged learners with various learning difficulties.
  • Collaborate with educational staff and other professionals to develop and implement effective IEPs.
  • Offer guidance and support to staff to ensure the right PT interventions are in place for each learner.
  • Foster a positive and joyful environment for students, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
