SEND High Learning Teaching Assistant (HLTA) Needed in Liverpool Area

This school is looking for an experienced SEND High-Learning Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join the dedicated and dynamic team in Liverpool. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the classroom teachers and ensuring the smooth running of the school environment.

[Responsibilities:]

• Work closely with classroom teachers to plan and deliver lessons
• Provide one-to-one support for students who require additional help
• Supervise classroom activities and support the teacher in managing student behavior
• Assist in the preparation of teaching materials and resources
• Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed, such as leading small group activities or supporting students with special educational needs

[Requirements:]

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a HLTA in a SEND school setting
• NVQ Level 4 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent qualification
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
