Position: Teaching Assistant (Full-Time)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time Teaching Assistant to join the team, working closely with a child who has experienced trauma and attachment challenges. This role requires someone with extensive experience in managing challenging behavior and a naturally calm and nurturing nature.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to a child with trauma and attachment issues.
- Assist in implementing personalized strategies to manage challenging behavior effectively.
- Foster a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and other staff to ensure consistent support for the child.
- Encourage social and emotional development through patient and empathetic interaction.
- Monitor and report on the child’s progress, adapting strategies as needed.
Essential Requirements:
- Proven ability to manage challenging behavior with patience and understanding.
- A naturally calm and composed demeanor.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting the educational and emotional development of children.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Relevant qualifications in education or child development.
- Experience in a similar role within a school setting.
