We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time Teaching Assistant to join the team, working closely with a child who has experienced trauma and attachment challenges. This role requires someone with extensive experience in managing challenging behavior and a naturally calm and nurturing nature.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one support to a child with trauma and attachment issues.
• Assist in implementing personalized strategies to manage challenging behavior effectively.
• Foster a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and other staff to ensure consistent support for the child.
• Encourage social and emotional development through patient and empathetic interaction.
• Monitor and report on the child’s progress, adapting strategies as needed.

Essential Requirements:

• Proven ability to manage challenging behavior with patience and understanding.
• A naturally calm and composed demeanor.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting the educational and emotional development of children.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Relevant qualifications in education or child development.
• Experience in a similar role within a school setting.
