The Role – Thursdays and Fridays:
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide 1:1 and group support tailored to individual needs
- Assist in implementing EHCP targets and personalised learning plans
- Support communication through visual aids, Makaton, PECs, or other strategies
- Help create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff
About You:
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic
- Understanding of (or willing to learn about) a wide range of SEND needs
- Adaptable, proactive, and calm under pressure
- Committed to promoting independence, dignity, and learning in all pupils
- Experienced in working with children or young people with additional needs (desirable but not essential)
