Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech and Language Therapist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with educators and other professionals to provide comprehensive support to students with speech, language, and communication needs. This role offers opportunities for both full-time and part-time employment, ensuring flexibility to suit individual preferences.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify students’ speech and language needs.
  • Develop and implement personalized therapy plans tailored to each student’s requirements.
  • Provide individual or group therapy sessions to improve communication skills, including speech articulation, language comprehension, and social communication.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, teaching assistants, and parents to ensure consistent care and support for students.
  • Maintain accurate records of students’ progress and communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders.
  • Stay abreast of developments in speech and language therapy techniques and methodologies to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent qualification.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or equivalent professional body.
  • Relevant experience working with children and young people, particularly those with SEND.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, colleagues, and families.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based interventions to support students’ communication development.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £110.00-£130.00 per day
