Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one support to the designated student with SEMH needs.
• Assist in implementing and adapting lesson plans to meet the individual requirements of the student.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor and track the progress of the student, providing feedback to the teaching staff.
• Employ effective behavior management strategies tailored to the student’s needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to ensure a holistic approach to the student’s education.

Requirements:

• Experience working with children with SEMH needs is highly desirable.
• Team-Teach training or equivalent would be advantageous.
• Physical fitness and an active lifestyle, as the student may display strong and energetic behavior.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the educational development of children with special needs.
