Role Overview:
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in our mission to support and empower children with SEND. You will work closely with experienced educators and therapists to provide one-on-one and small group support to our students. Your daily tasks will include:

  • Assisting with classroom activities and curriculum-based learning.
  • Supporting students with their emotional and social well-being.
  • Encouraging independent learning and self-confidence.
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other support staff.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children with SEND is highly desirable.
  • A passion for helping children with special needs reach their full potential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a nurturing personality.
  • An understanding of the diverse needs of students with SEND.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in education or child development is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary contract, Temp to perm

Salary: £70.00-£80.00 per day

Experience:

  • Special education: 1 year (preferred)

 

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)

 

Ability to Commute:
