Role Overview:
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in our mission to support and empower children with SEND. You will work closely with experienced educators and therapists to provide one-on-one and small group support to our students. Your daily tasks will include:
- Assisting with classroom activities and curriculum-based learning.
- Supporting students with their emotional and social well-being.
- Encouraging independent learning and self-confidence.
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other support staff.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children with SEND is highly desirable.
- A passion for helping children with special needs reach their full potential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a nurturing personality.
- An understanding of the diverse needs of students with SEND.
- Relevant qualifications or training in education or child development is a plus.
